Library Purification: Unique Opportunity with Unique Challenges

A primary early goal of drug discovery research is to generate relevant biological data in large search spaces which requires producing a large number of synthetic compounds by medicinal chemists. One of  the best ways to achieve this is by synthesizing libraries of varying complexity containing compounds of  interest. The main limiting factor of creating compound libraries is that they require specialized instru mentation and experienced purification scientists to purify them, as there is often reduced synthetic  control in a library-based system than for single syntheses. 

This is where Rilas steps in! With the new Rilas Platform, leveraging over forty years of experience with  purification and analysis, we have developed a Rilas process to purify small molecules, peptides, and  DNA encoded compounds whether they are part of libraries or singletons. Our process has been fine tuned to purify each compound with the highest purity achievable in the most efficient way possible.  We work with our customers to ensure seamless integration of their compounds into our processes  and return the purified samples in a format which makes them easy to submit for biological screening  and storage, or any other downstream processes required. Purified libraries have a more homogenous  character, allowing for the downstream analytics teams to inform upstream with much more confi dence than with crude libraries.
